A new dimension of Thai cuisine, Royal Osha is a fine-dining Thai restaurant that showcases a well-composed charm of Thai food through a demonstration of traditional recipes, world-class ingredients, and modern approaches. The restaurant’s culinary refinement has garnered a high reputation, making it one of the best Thai restaurants in Bangkok and with recommendations from many prestige media outlets around the world.
“Osha” is a Thai word influenced by the ancient Pali language, meaning delicious. Here, at Royal Osha Restaurant, great taste can be experienced not just through the tongue but also through all the senses. We have raised the bar for deliciousness to an aesthetic haute level whether it be the look, taste, smell, sound, or texture.
Royal Osha is located in Soi Ruam Rudee on Wireless Road, right in the heart of Bangkok’s Central Business District and very near to several consulates and embassies. The restaurant serves up highly treasured cuisines from Thailand’s four regions through a la carte and set menus as well as an exclusive chef’s table experience, with a strong focus on fresh seasonal produce and supreme palatability.
To provide the guests with the most memorable dining experience, the restaurant features a sophisticated setting that blends elegant Thai heritage with modern cosmopolitan design. It is a destination where the best Thai food meets the greatest ambience and impeccable service
Guests arriving at the restaurant every night will be greeted with an animated digital projection of Hanuman, from the timeless Thai literature “Ramayana” at the entrance. The front vestibule, meanwhile, is designed to mimic an entryway to God Rama’s pavilion where sublime gastronomic pleasure awaits. Royal Osha’s high-ceiling dining hall is inspired by the grandeur of an ancient Thai palace. It features a genteel dark-tone interior design complemented by genuine gold trimmings.
Various details of Thainess are illustrated throughout the room including a glittering gem-adorned chandelier centerpiece that resembles a Chada headdress and a colourful mural painting of Ramayana stories on the mezzanine floor. The atmosphere is lent with a dramatic contemporary vibe by decorative lines and curves as well as special 3D mapping projection on the ceiling for an absolute impression.
A focus on the finest quality seasonal ingredients from local farmers and artisan food producers throughout Thailand is one of kitchen principles of Royal Osha, which is regarded by many international medias and food authorities as one of the best Thai restaurants in Bangkok. The restaurant’s eco-conscious menus are created upon different seasons: Summer, Rainy and Winter, and prepared only with fresh sustainable produce.

Royal Osha’s cuisine is conceptualized as “Classic Thai Elegance Reinvented”. Thus, every step of our preparation and presentation requires meticulous attention to detail.
We aim to present Thailand’s gastronomic culture and local way of life through a showcase of characteristic cuisines from the country’s four regions. The recipes have been passed down from generation to generation. The creations may look modernized and stylish, but the comforting taste profile of authentic recipes is always preserved.
Thai people believe that food is more than just a meal, it is also a significant factor in good health and wellbeing. Many Thai vegetables and herbs are known to have medicinal properties and have been used in various dishes for their therapeutic benefits. According to Thai culinary wisdom, a good meal must offer a balance of seven flavours. The bitter, sour and astringent tastes, found in some native vegetables, are particularly treasured for their remedial value.
Incorporating cooking arts with sustainability and health science, Thais also eat according to the season. Specific seasonal vegetables are believed to provide a perfect remedial benefit in fighting the season’s common illness.
So, at Royal Osha, we pay utmost attention to sourcing raw materials and crafting rotating menus that are both palatable, good for health and perfect for the season.
In summer, mellow food, such as Khao Chae, is ideal to help extinguish heat in the body. In the rainy season, spicy dishes such as crab curry with cumin leaves would help ward off colds. While in winter, a tangy menu of Som Tam and aspic would help boost appetite.
Many dishes on Royal Osha menu feature ingredients that provide a healthful benefit all year round. For example, galangal and lemongrass in our Tom Yum soup help with digestion and boost great appetite. Bai Liang, or melinjo leaves, a key ingredient in one of our curries, help nourish eyesight and fight cancer. While lotus petals in our Miang Kham Bua Luang help lower blood sugar levels and soothe anxiety.
Complementing Royal Osha’s great cuisine is a special collection of cocktails. Our signature concoctions showcase prime-quality Thai spirits together with various indigenous botanicals, promising to round off the meal in style.
